From the iconic Maasai Mara to the stunning beaches of Diani, here’s a curated guide to Kenya’s must-visit destinations, designed for travelers looking to immerse themselves fully in all that Kenya has to offer.

1. Maasai Mara National Reserve

Known for the Great Migration and high density of wildlife, the Maasai Mara is a dream for safari-goers. Experience vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and predators during the migration where you can watch massive herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains.

  • Best Times to Visit: The best time to go on a safari in Kenya is during the dry season, from July to October. This is when animals gather near waterholes, making it much easier to see them.
  • Local Insights: Engage with the Maasai community by visiting a village or joining guided nature walks with Maasai warriors, who provide a deeper understanding of wildlife and local customs.
